There has always been 8 Schumann Frequencies

This global electromagnetic resonance phenomenon is named after physicist Winfried Otto Schumann who predicted it mathematically in 1952. Schumann resonances occur because the space between the surface of the Earth and the conductive ionosphere acts as a closed waveguide. The limited dimensions of the Earth cause this waveguide to act as a resonant cavity for electromagnetic waves in the ELF band. The cavity is naturally excited by electric currents in lightning. Schumann resonances are the principal background in the part of the electromagnetic spectrum and appear as distinct peaks at extremely low frequencies (ELF) around 7.83 Hz (fundamental) 14.3, 20.8, 27.3,33.8, 39, 45 and 59Hz. ---Wikipedia (normally I wouldn't quote Wikipedia due to mass distributed disinformation, but this seems pretty solid).

"As far back as we know, the Earth’s electromagnetic field has been protecting all living things with this natural frequency pulsation of 7.83 Hz. You can think of this as the earth’s heartbeat. The ancient Indian Rishis referred to this as OHM, or the incarnation of pure sound. Whether by coincidence or not, the frequency of 7.83 Hz also happens to be a very powerful frequency used with brain wave entrainment as it’s associated with low levels of alpha and the upper range of theta brain wave states. This frequency has also been associated with high levels of hypnotizability, suggestibility, meditation, and increased HGH (human growth hormone) levels, in addition to increased cerebral blood-flow levels while this frequency is being stimulated."

"On January 31, 2017, for the first time in recorded history, the Schumann resonance reached frequencies of 36+ Hz. It was considered an anomaly when in 2014 this frequency rose from its usual 7.83 Hz to somewhere in the 15-25 Hz levels—so a jump from 7.83 Hz to 36+ Hz is a big deal. That’s more than a five-fold increase in resonant frequency levels. What does this mean to us as inhabitants of Mother Earth? According to neuroscience, frequency recordings of 36+ Hz in the human brain are more associated with a stressed nervous system than a relaxed and healthy one. "---Joe Dispenza

What this means.....

It means that the Schumann Resonance isn't increasing, if it was, then the Earth would be literally getting larger or smaller in size.  The frequencies are directly related to the size of the planet.  When we see spikes like we often do now, we are seeing the Amplitude (often called the Power) of the different frequency ranges.  So when we see someone report "The Schumann Resonance is spiking at 38 Hz today!!!!"   What we are really seeing is that the amplitude of the range around 38 Hz is being seen and felt. I say felt, because I certainly can feel a difference when the SR is being seen in the higher range frequencies.

Did you know....

SR Frequencies and brain waves.

How do you read this thing?

The physical condition of early Astronauts deteriorated severely while in outer space, away from the Schumann Resonance. The problem was solved by introducing the "Schumann Simulator" into all space shuttles, a magnetic pulse generator mimicking the Earth's frequency. This demonstrates the simple fact that we cannot be healthy if disconnected from these Earth frequencies.

German researcher Jürgen Aschoff created an underground bunker to use as a laboratory in which human subjects could be shielded from any external time cues, including variations in light, temperature, electromagnetic fields – and the Schumann Resonance. Between 1964 and 1989, this bunker was used to conduct 418 studies on 447 human volunteers.

Endocrine function, thyroid function, depression and other effective disorders manifested in the bunker subjects. However, when a machine that resonates at 7.83Hz was placed in the bunker, the subjects found that their malaise and illnesses disappeared or were alleviated.
